The client
We Digital Hub is a branding and design agency based in Howrah, part of Orbit Up Branding Studio. They work with startups and growing businesses across India on brand identity, packaging, print, web design and monthly design retainers. With several years of client work behind them and more than 270 Google reviews, they had already built a strong reputation.
In 2026 they were rebuilding their website, and wanted to make sure the new site would be found as well as it looked.
The brief
The project began as a review of their existing site. As we worked through it, it grew into something more useful: a full SEO and AI search foundation for the new build, written so their development team could implement it directly.
A rebuild is the best possible moment for this kind of work. Fixing structure before launch is far simpler than correcting it afterwards.
Starting with their own data
Before making any recommendations, we went through twelve months of their Google Search Console data. Generic SEO advice is easy to find. What matters is what a specific business is actually being found for.
Two things stood out.
Their brand was doing the heavy lifting. Around 95% of organic clicks came from people searching for We Digital Hub by name. That is a clear sign of a strong reputation and a loyal client base. It also showed where the opportunity was: helping new buyers find them through the services they search for.
Buyers used different words from the industry. People were searching for "brand identity design agency" far more than "branding agency". That one detail shaped how every page title on the new site was written.
Protecting what had already been built
The existing site held around 185 project pages, built up over years and already known to Google. That history has real value, and a redesign is the point where it is most easily lost.
So a central part of the plan was a migration approach: carrying the strongest projects across to the new portfolio and pointing each old address to its new home with a permanent redirect. The new site looks better, and it keeps the search history the old one earned.
What was delivered
- An implementation guide covering URL structure, indexing, redirects, sitemap and crawler access, including access for AI search engines such as ChatGPT and Perplexity
- A structured data reference with 16 validated JSON-LD blocks, describing the business, its services and its pricing to search engines in a consistent way
- Page titles and descriptions for eight key pages, built from the search terms their own data showed people were using
- Guidance on page speed, images and founder profiles
- A technical handover call with their development team
- Pre-launch checks of the new build against the specification
A few smaller technical fixes came out of the review too, including making sure Google indexed a single secure version of the homepage and that checkout pages stayed out of search results.
A few deliberate choices
No review-star markup. Despite their 270+ reviews, Google doesn't allow star ratings for reviews a business displays about itself. Adding it would have risked a penalty. The reviews still feature prominently on the site, where they belong.
The brand name stays first on the homepage. Their homepage already performed well for people searching their name, so the new title builds on that rather than risking it for keyword placement.
No promises about rankings. Nobody can honestly guarantee positions. The work focused on what can be controlled: a clear, consistent, well-structured site.
Working with their team
We Digital Hub's in-house development team implemented the recommendations quickly and carefully. Within days, the new page titles were live exactly as specified, the FAQ was expanded with detailed answers to real buyer questions, and the reviews page was showing more than 270 genuine Google reviews.
It was a genuinely collaborative project. Their team asked good questions, made sensible judgement calls, and the new site reflects the quality of their design work.
Where it stands
The new site is in its final stage before launch. Once it has been live long enough to gather meaningful data, we will update this page with the results.
